Alikanas still retains a degree of "old Greece" along with some of the best restaurants and definitely one of the best beaches on the Island. The restaurants in the centre of Alikanas boast varied menus ranging from traditional greek cuisine to traditional english food.
Why not take a boat to the blue caves, they are truly breathtaking. Ask Spiros where to book your trip as there are all day trip as well as short visits. One thing to remember, TAKE YOUR CAMERA!
The Beach in Alikanas is a long golden crescent of fine sand with clear warm water that you can walk out in for a couple of hundred yards without getting your bum wet! Whatever the time of day, you will always find a spot on the beach to lie back and chill out.
